Please explore the information below to learn more about a few of our reoccurring social events. The Desert Doves are committed to fostering a sense of community here in Tucson. Our community events are open to all: community members, RPCVs, Coverdell Fellows, students, partners, friends, family, (anyone!). All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Desert Doves Events

GENERAL MEMBER MEETING

Saturday, May 17th starting at 4:00 PM, at Susan Petrus and Tom Kittle's residence (1616 E Calle Altivo).

At this meeting we will recognize graduating Coverdell Fellow and Peace Corps Prep students as well as any community members who've been invited to serve. Pizza will be provided by our regional Peace Corps Recruiter, Anastasia Bannikova. Drinks are BYOB.

DOVES DINE

Our next Doves Dine will be on Saturday, June 21st. Time and Location TBD.

FIRST FRIDAYS HAPPY HOUR

1st Friday of every month at 6:00 PM. For May 2nd, we'll be meeting at Voltron Brewing (330 S Toole Ave #200, Tucson, AZ 85701).

VOLLEYBALL MEET-UP

Join fellow RPCVs and friends on Saturday mornings for a weekly volleyball meetup at Anza Park. Start time varies with the weather and we occasionally cancel if there won't be enough players, so call or text Chris (815-529-2780) to confirm before attending.
